November Heritage Scrap

We've had an intense couple of months here at the Heritage Scraps Challenge. I thought that I'd lighten things up a bit and really focus on the family unit. Do any of you have one of those old-fashioned family portraits in a box and don't know what to do with it? Or do you have a family photo that you've been planning to scrap but haven't gotten around to it? Well here's your chance to do something. This month, it's all about family---past and present!

With Remembrance Day (in Canada)/Vetern's Day (US) just around the corner our war vets, (past, present and future)  will be on our minds more than ever.   My nephew, Andew, has been dreaming about becoming a fighter pilot since he was a little boy and in December, he will graduate from years of training to realize his dream.  When I found this quote, I immediately thought of Andrew and how a little boy dreamed big dreams and achieved his goal.  Whether he gets sent off to war or not, we wish him well and will pray for his safety....just as we pray for those who gave their time and lives for our freedom and thank them for their sacrifices.  God bless them all!  That being said, please enjoy the freebie:

Travel Time

Hi everyone, it's Ginger. I've had a horrible cold and have lost my voice. Not being able to talk has it's advantages. I'm not talking on the phone or hanging out with my friends so I'm getting lots done around the house and I've played on the computer lots!

I've also been playing with the Travel Time kit by Carol's Digiscrap Creations. I love this kit! Take a look...
