It's been a while, but I took some time off from designing to work on a special scrapping project for Christmas. My son got married two years ago and I wanted to create a special wedding album for him and my daughter-in-law. Considering that they just had a baby in July and celebrated their second wedding anniversary in September, I figured it was time.....

The album is near and dear to my heart as I specifically designed my "Love Story" kit for Adam and Julie. The album itself contains 30 pages illustrating their wedding day from start to finish. I was also to use my other heritage kits to make this album a truly special and memorable gift for my son and daughter-in-law.

My next project is to scrap my vacations.....

Anyways, to end 2010 on a bright note, hear is a quick page I found in my vault! Enjoy

It's a Guy Thing!

I'm working on some family layouts and was really inspired by a photo I found of my son Adam and his dog Bella. I used my kit "Guy Thing" to finally scrap a few layout about the men in my life. I found this poem many years ago and find it to be so true as the years have gone on. The last five years have brought on many changes as we have experienced the deaths of parents, the marriage of our son and now the birth of our first grandchild. Last year at this time, my husband and I were preparing for our second trip to Hawaii. The first time was to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. This time, we went with friends to help celebrate theirs. We had a great time and took lots of pictures. This trip only confirmed that Hawaii is one of my favourite places on this planet. My children will be the first to agree since they have all visited on their own as well and took lots of pictures. With all those pictures to scrap, it was only natural that I design a kit to showcase those photos. "Aloha" is the result. Here s a layout I did with the kit...
